ABOUT ME!
KENNEL CLUB ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR 2022!

Working with people and their dogs is, in my opinion, a huge responsibility and a sound, formal, and accredited education in Animal Psychology, Behaviour and Training is essential to be able to successfully help the guardian/dog relationship to reach its full potential.  After a career as an RSPCA Inspector, a lifetime of working and living with animals, and more than a decade as a Qualified and Accredited Applied Dog Behaviourist & Trainer, I have a great deal of experience to support that education too!

As a former RSPCA Inspector, I all too often saw the unfortunate fallout resulting from untrained and misunderstood dogs that so often led to re-homing and, sadly, sometimes worse scenarios.  My view is that not only do we need to help our hound become a happy and well-adjusted member of society through kind, reward-based and patient training, we need to ensure that WE are meeting OUR DOG'S needs too, and this should be highest on our priority list if we are to succeed.

My most recent achievement was to be judged KENNEL CLUB ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR 2022 - very proud indeed that all my hard work has been recognised!
